Get to Know Me
My name is Jonathan Murray. I'm an Arkansas native who has had a passion for fly fishing since I was a teenager. After spending nearly a decade out west guiding I've returned home to start my own business in the beautiful Ozarks of Northern Arkansas. My goal is to become your outfitter for both fly fishing and spin fishing guide trips on the White and Norfork Rivers. I work with the very best guides in the area to ensure you always have a world class experience that keeps you coming back year after year. Please check out the site and feel free to email or call with any questions. Thank you.

Everything You Need to Know
Why Murray's Ozark Anglers?
We work with the absolute best guides on the river whose only goal is to ensure you and your friends or customers have the best experience possible.
All of our guides will provide drinks, lunch for full day customers, rods and reels, and all terminal tackle.
What should I bring?
You should bring a hat, sunglasses, rain gear and of course a great attitude!
Do I need a license?
Yes you will need an Arkansas fishing license with a trout permit. These can be purchased online at agfc.com.
Where should we stay?
We highly recommend Cranor's White River Lodge. There are also great options available on Vrbo.
Do I need to be an expert fisherperson to book a guide for a day?
Absolutely not. Booking a guide to learn is actually the easiest and best way to ensure success. All of our guides enjoy teaching new fisherpeople how to fish.
Are we going to be wading?
All of our trips are done out of a jet boat set up with oars. High water or low water this is the best method to ensure success on the water.
